The short, honest version.

What we collect

• Standard server logs — your IP, browser type, and the page you visited, kept for 7 days for abuse detection, then deleted.
• Anonymous analytics — page views and country, no cookies, no fingerprinting. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible).
• The URL you paste into ReelGrab — only in memory, for the few seconds it takes to fetch the file. Never written to disk. Never logged.

What we don't collect

• Your name, email, or any identifier.
• A log of the URLs you paste.
• The files you download.
• Behavioral profiles, retargeting data, ad IDs.

Cookies

ReelGrab uses no cookies of its own. The single advertising provider in our footer may set cookies — that's disclosed in the cookie banner you see on your first visit. You can decline; the converter still works.

Third parties

• Cloudflare — sits in front of our server. They see your IP for DDoS protection.
• Vercel — hosts the website itself.
• Plausible — anonymous analytics.
• Footer ad provider — disclosed in cookie banner.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since we don't store personal data linked to your identity, there's very little to request. If you want a copy of the server logs that include your IP from the last 7 days, email privacy@reelgrab.example with the IP and approximate visit time.

Children

ReelGrab is intended for users 13 and over (16 in EU). We don't knowingly collect data from younger users.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post a note in the footer for at least 30 days.
