Full resolution. Not the thumbnail.

Right-clicking on Instagram gives you a sad little 320px thumbnail. ReelGrab fetches the source file — the one the app uses when you double-tap to zoom — typically 1080px on the long edge or better.

Carousels come down whole. All slides, numbered.

Paste a carousel link and you get a zip: photo-01.jpg, photo-02.jpg, and so on, in the order the creator posted them. Mixed carousels with video slides include the MP4s alongside.

Works for stories too.

Public stories save before they expire — no need to be friends with the account, no need to log in. The same paste flow handles them.

FAQ

The honest answers.

Specific to this tool. The general questions live on the main FAQ.

What resolution do I get?

Whatever the creator uploaded — usually 1080×1080 for square posts, 1080×1350 for vertical, and 1080×566 for landscape. ReelGrab serves the largest version Instagram has cached.

Why does my zip have fewer files than the carousel?

Probably because some slides are videos, not photos. Those land as MP4s in the same zip. If a slide is truly missing, the post may have been edited after you copied the link.
