We're a website, not a court. Here's what ReelGrab will do, what it won't do, and where the line is.
Yes. No signup, no trial, no daily limit on most days. ReelGrab is funded by a single small ad in the footer — not by selling your data, not by watermarking your files, not by saving anything you paste.
No. You get the original MP4 the creator uploaded, with no ReelGrab branding burned in. If the creator added their own watermark inside the video, that stays — we can't remove what's already baked in.
No, and we won't add it. Private posts are private — ReelGrab only works with public profiles, public reels, public stories, and public IGTV. If a link asks Instagram to authenticate, we hand it back.
Yes. On iOS the saved file opens in the share sheet — tap Save Video or Save Image to send it to Photos. MP3 audio drops into Files.
Yes. On Android the file goes straight to your Downloads folder, and most phones auto-add new MP4s to the gallery. No share-sheet detour needed.
Yes. Same paste flow in any desktop browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave. The file lands in your usual Downloads folder.
Yes. Paste the carousel link and we return a numbered zip — photo-01.jpg, photo-02.jpg, in order. Mixed carousels with video slides include the MP4s too.
No. The link goes through, the file comes back, and nothing about your session sticks around on our side. We don't log the URLs you paste and we don't store the files we hand you.
That's between you and the creator. ReelGrab gives you the file — copyright on the content stays with whoever made it. Personal use, reposting with credit: fine. Selling someone else's work as your own: not fine.
MP3 plays on every device, every music app, no friction. Up to 320 kbps — what the source provides. We may add lossless formats later.
Downloading public content for personal use is generally legal in most jurisdictions. Reposting without credit, monetising someone else's work, or claiming it as yours is not. Copyright belongs to creators.
