Public stories only — that's a hard rule. Within that, two taps and a paste keep the story forever.

Open the story you want. Has to be a public account. Private stories are not on the table — if a link asks Instagram to log in, ReelGrab declines.
Copy the story link. Tap the three dots on the story and choose Copy link. (If you don't see Copy link, the story isn't shareable.)
Paste into ReelGrab, hit save. Photo stories come back as JPGs, video stories as MP4s with the original audio.
